حضارة لا تزال حيّة
ما أثار إعجابي هو أن الصين، رغم كل مظاهر الحداثة، لم تتخلَّ عن هويتها الحضارية. في كل زاوية من المدينة، هناك أثر للتاريخ، سواء في المعمار أو اللغة أو الممارسات اليومية. تجد ناطحات السحاب بجانب المعابد، وتقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي إلى جانب الخط الصيني التقليدي..إنها حضارة تعرف كيف تحافظ على نفسها، لا بالتجمد في الماضي، بل بالانطلاق منه نحو المستقبل.
الحداثة المتوازنة
في الصين، ليست الحداثة مظهرًا استهلاكيًا، بل جزء من مشروع وطني واعٍ. من وسائل النقل السريعة، إلى الأبنية الذكية، إلى الحوكمة الرقمية والخدمات العامة عالية الكفاءة، يشعر الزائر أن الدولة تسير في طريق التقدم بثقة ومنهج.
المفارقة أن هذه الحداثة لا تأتي على حساب الإنسان، بل تبدو مُسخَّرة لخدمته: هناك نظام، ونظافة، واحترام للخصوصية، واهتمام بجودة الحياة، مما يجعل النمو في الصين ليس مجرد أرقام، بل تجربة معيشية راقية.
التقدم التكنولوجي في خدمة التراث الثقافي
من أبرز ما شهدته خلال الزيارات الميدانية للمراكز البحثية وورش العمل في الصين هو التقدم التكنولوجي الهائل في مجال الآثار وصيانة وترميم التحف الأثرية. بدا الأمر كما لو أننا زرنا كوكبًا متقدمًا عن كوكب الأرض بضوء سنوات في هذا المجال، حيث تستخدم الصين أحدث التقنيات والتحولات الرقمية لدعم العمل الأثري.
هذه التقنيات المتطورة لا تقتصر على حفظ الآثار وترميمها فقط، بل تمتد إلى خلق جسور تواصل ثقافي بين الماضي والحاضر، حيث توظف التكنولوجيا لخدمة التاريخ والثقافة بأساليب مبتكرة تثير الإعجاب والإبهار.
إن فلسفة الصين في إبراز قوتها الناعمة تركز على الثقافة والحضارة والابتكار، وليس فقط على قوتها السياسية أو الاقتصادية أو العسكرية. فهي تستثمر التكنولوجيا المتقدمة في الحفاظ على تراثها الثقافي، مما يعكس رؤية استراتيجية عميقة لبناء جسور بين الماضي ومستقبل مشرق.
مبادرة الحزام والطريق ونموذج الصين الملهم:
إطلاق الصين لمبادرة “الحزام والطريق” التي تتضمن مشاريع تنموية لبناء بنية تحتية وتعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي والعلاقات مع الدول النامية بما فيها الدول العربية وتساهم فعاليات المبادرة في تعزيز الوعي العالمي والاحترام للثقافة الصينية مما يرسخ صورة إيجابية تجاه الصين ويعزز دورها كقوة ناعمة, كما يساهم أيضاً في بناء جسور ثقافية بين الصين والدول الأخرى مما يعزز الروابط ويزيد من التفاهم المتبادل, خاصة أن الصين تقدم لدول العالم الثالث والدول النامية والفقيرة تجربة ملهمة كنموذج في التنمية الاقتصادية والتحول من دولة فقيرة لقوة اقتصادية كبرى وبالتالي تعكس لنا نموذجاً تنموياً بعيداً عن التدخلات الغربية فالصين بعكس القوى الغربية تقدم نفسها كشريك في التنمية الثقافية والاقتصادية دون فرض أفكار سياسية أو ثقافية وهذا يختلف عن ممارسات القوى الغربية الاستعمارية التي كانت تفرض قيمها الثقافية وتروج لها. What impressed me deeply was how modern China has not abandoned its civilizational roots. Everywhere you turn, traces of history remain—woven into architecture, language, and everyday customs. You’ll see skyscrapers beside temples, AI-driven systems alongside traditional calligraphy.
China has not preserved its identity by freezing it in time, but by allowing it to evolve—anchored in the past, reaching toward the future.
Balanced Modernity
Modernity in China isn’t a cosmetic feature—it’s part of a thoughtful, national project. From high-speed trains to smart cities, from efficient public services to advanced digital governance, it’s clear that progress here is intentional and well-planned.
And yet, this modernity doesn’t come at the cost of the human spirit. On the contrary, it seems designed to serve people: order, cleanliness, privacy, and quality of life all stand out. Growth in China isn’t just measured in numbers—it’s something you can feel in daily life.
Technological Advancement Serving Cultural Heritage
One of the most remarkable experiences during my visits to research centers and workshops in China was witnessing the enormous technological progress in archaeology, conservation, and restoration of artifacts. It felt as if we had visited a planet light years ahead of Earth in this field, where China uses the latest technologies and digital transformations to support archaeological work.
These advanced technologies extend beyond merely preserving and restoring artifacts; they build cultural bridges between past and present, utilizing technology to serve history and culture in innovative and awe-inspiring ways.
China’s philosophy of showcasing its soft power focuses on culture, civilization, and innovation—not just on its political, economic, or military strength. It invests advanced technology in preserving its cultural heritage, reflecting a profound strategic vision to build bridges between the past and a bright future.
China’s launch of the “Belt and Road Initiative” encompasses developmental projects aimed at building infrastructure and enhancing academic cooperation and relations with developing countries, including Arab nations. The initiative’s activities contribute to raising global awareness and respect for Chinese culture, thus fostering a positive image of China and strengthening its role as a soft power. It also helps build cultural bridges between China and other countries, enhancing connections and increasing mutual understanding—especially as China offers developing and impoverished nations an inspiring example of economic development, transforming itself from a poor country into a major economic power. This presents a development model free from Western interference, as China, unlike Western powers, positions itself as a partner in cultural and economic development without imposing political or cultural ideologies, in stark contrast to the colonial practices of Western powers that historically enforced and promoted their own cultural values. … to be continued
